Tour Championship

The 2013 Golf season has led to this: The Tour Championship. This is the big finale of the Fedex Cup Playoffs, and each year it has been exciting until the end. Last year, Brandt Snedeker came out victorious, and he'll try to become the first player ever to win in back to back years. Only Tiger Woods has won twice.

The field consists of the top 30 players in the Fedex Cup, and they all have a chance to win. Those ranked in the Top 5 can win the playoffs simply by winning this event. Everyone else has to win and have other things happen. But we saw Bill Haas a couple years ago come from one of the lowest spots to win it all so anything is possible. Here are the current Fedex Cup Standings:

As for our competition on this blog, Andrew holds a commanding lead still. But since this is the finale, we'll triple the points to see if Greg can catch him. Here are the standings for us:

Andrew - 1673
Greg - 1521

This week the Pick 5 Challenge will become the Pick 6 Challenge. We must pick a player ranked in the Fedex Top 5, 6-10, 11-15, 16-20, 21-25, and 26-30. Plus, Andrew let Greg pick all his first and then picked different guys. Should be fun!

Andrew's Picks

1-5: Tiger Woods (1)
6-10: Steve Stricker (6)
11-15: Jim Furyk (11)
16-20: Bill Haas (18)
21-25: Webb Simpson (21)
26-30: Luke Donald (29)

Greg's Picks

1-5: Henrik Stenson (2)
6-10: Justin Rose (9)
11-15: Hunter Mahan (15)
16-20: Kevin Streelman (19)
21-25: Billy Horschel (22)
26-30: Dustin Johnson (30)

  1. Head to head, Greg took Andrew out this week at the Tour Championship and predicted the winner. But he still came up short. Andrew wins the 2013 season (and the fake 10 million dollars) but Greg won the Tour Championship. Got it?

All that's left now this year is the President's Cup, which should be fun!
