NFL Power Rankings 10

NFL Power Rankings
After Week 10

NOTE: Previous ranking is noted in the first parenthesis, record in second parenthesis.

1. (1) New England Patriots (7-2) – The bye week didn’t compromise their top ranking. This week at Indianapolis will be telling though.

2. (3) Denver Broncos (7-2) – Despite a slow start, the Broncos crushed the Raiders as expected. Can they win out however to cash in on the one seed?

3. (2) Arizona Cardinals (8-1) – Despite winning and still holding the best record in the NFL, I moved them back a spot in the rankings. That is solely based on the fact they lost Carson Palmer for the year.

4. (4) Philadelphia Eagles (7-2) – I bashed Sanchez last week, but he proved me wrong in his first start with Philly. He was terrific and looked capable of running a great offense under Chip Kelly.

5. (5) Detroit Lions (7-2) – Another close game, but another close win. The defense is terrific, and Stafford makes plays late. A playoff spot is almost guaranteed already.

6. (6) Indianapolis Colts (6-3) – They host New England this weekend. Anyone else excited?

7. (7) Green Bay Packers (6-3) – Rodgers and company look unstoppable whenever they play Chicago. Can they bring that level of play vs. all teams though?

8. (8) Kansas City Chiefs (6-3) – Chiefs won a big game at Buffalo to help their wildcard aspirations. Alex Smith continues to win games wherever he plays. Same goes for Andy Reid.

9. (10) Dallas Cowboys (7-3) – Tony Romo returned to the lineup and looked as good as ever. He’s now got a bye week to make sure he’s fully healed up.

10. (11) Seattle Seahawks (6-3) – Seattle’s back in my top 10 after running all over the Giants. It’s sure nice they fed “Beast Mode”, because I own Lynch in fantasy (4 td’s).

11. (16) San Francisco 49ers (5-4) – After falling flat a week ago, the 49ers came back with a big win at New Orleans. Nobody wins in that dome, so that’s absolutely incredible. Might jumpstart their season again.

12. (18) Cleveland Browns (6-3) – I finally believe, in a big way. Winning at Cincinnati was impressive, but the way they won was even better. Their defense is becoming more and more impressive.

13. (9) Cincinnati Bengals (5-3-1) – What happened to Andy Dalton? He was atrocious last week. Can he bounce back?

14. (17) Baltimore Ravens (6-4) – Ravens got back on track on Sunday, but they still trail Cleveland by a game in the division. Joe Flacco’s been quiet recently. He needs to get going like he was a month ago.

15. (12) Pittsburgh Steelers (6-4) – What happened to Big Ben and that newfound offense firepower? I just don’t get the AFC North…

16. (13) Miami Dolphins (5-4) – Heartbreaking loss at Detroit. For their sake, let’s hope that game doesn’t end up killing their postseason hopes.

17. (14) Buffalo Bills (5-4) – What I said about Miami above applies here too…

18. (19) San Diego Chargers (5-4) – Ryan Mathews should be back coming out of their bye. Hopefully that means a better running game and getting back to their winning ways.

19. (15) New Orleans Saints (4-5) – Close loss at home, but they still lead their division despite a losing record. Must be nice playing in that division.

20. (20) Minnesota Vikings (4-5) –The talk in Minnesota all surrounds the potential return of AD… if they want him back.

21. (22) Houston Texans (4-5) – The Ryan Mallott era is about to begin. Will it hurt or help?

22. (27) Atlanta Falcons (3-6) – Got back into the winning column. Now two of their three wins are against Tampa Bay.

23. (21) Carolina Panthers (3-6-1) – Cam Newton is simple not Cam Newton. Tough to play well against that offensive line though.

24. (23) St. Louis Rams (3-6) – They are apparently going with Shaun Hill this week at QB. They just need to hurry up and get to the draft!

25. (29) New York Jets (2-8) – This ranking isn’t based on their whole season, but on the fact they now look capable under Michael Vick. We’ll see if they can continue being competitive.

26. (26) Washington Redskins (3-6) – The questions surrounding this team and RGIII will be answered in the weeks to come. Good luck!

27. (24) Chicago Bears (3-6) – Sad to call this squad my favorite team. They are pathetic.

28. (25) New York Giants (3-6) – Rashad Jennings could be back this week, which will really help. Too bad he couldn’t play defense, cause they need help there.

29. (28) Tennessee Titans (2-7) – This team is headed nowhere fast. Except towards the top of the draft.

30. (30) Jacksonville Jaguars (1-9) – Hope they had a good trip to London off the field, because it wasn’t great on it.

31. (31) Tampa Bay Buccaneers (1-8) – I thought Tampa Bay was a defensive coach? Cause his defense sucks!

32. (32) Oakland Raiders (0-9) – Losing to Denver was expected. Losing to everyone so far this year wasn’t…
