So as we enter week 2, we know a little more about certain teams, while others still remain a mystery. I see a lot of road teams capable of winning this week, which makes games tough to pick I think. I am most excited for the Thursday night matchup featuring the NFC North rivalry of Green Bay and Chicago. Go Bears!
If you missed last week, feel free to make your picks in the comment section, and we'll see whose picks are the best. Be sure to rank the games 16 to 1 with more points for the games you are most confident in. It's all about the points with the tiebreaker going to picking record.
But without further ado, here are the picks for the Sports Guys, along with our confidence points for each game.

Well we both missed last night's game... but it was my 1 point game and your 5 point game so that could lead to an early advantage... but man was that game ugly. It looked no different than the last couple years watching the Bears and that pathetic O-line!
ReplyDelete16 Atlanta over Denver (Because I said I would)
ReplyDelete15 Washington over St. Louis
14 Houston over Jax
13 New England over Zona
12 Cinci over Cleveland
11 Baltimore over Philly
10 New Orleans over Carolina
9 Dallas over Seattle
8 Oakland over Miami

6 Minnesota over Indy
5 San Fran over Detroit
4 Pitt over NYJ
3 KC over Buffalo
2 NYG over Tampa Bay
1 Green Bay over Chicago (don't count if you don't want to, but I would have picked this)
We can count the Green Bay game. Most people would have picked it that way so I'm glad it's only worth 1 point for you! Glad you were true to your word with Atlanta, but it may be a terrible thing for you!
ReplyDeleteAfter yesterday, all 3 entries went 7-8 BUT the points are the real story and means of judging. Andrew has 69, Greg has 61, and Shoes has 45. Andrew and Greg both have the Broncos tonight, but at different point values. No matter what, Andrew will win and they will share the same record. Shoes can catch Greg if the Falcons win because of the 16 points he'd gain, plus he would finish with a better record. He can't catch Andrew however... Good stuff!
ReplyDeleteIf that's the case, Shoes(Coach) should win because he has the best overall pick record if the Falcons win tonight, points should only be the tiebreaker if they are tied, but if actual picks are better, even if you have more points you should not win.
ReplyDeleteAs to your last comment, clearly stated in week 1 rules that this year points is the decider. Record breaks ties. So as to the week 2 results:
ReplyDeleteAndrew - 69 Points (7-9)
Evan - 61 Points (8-8)
Greg - 61 Points (7-9)
