Week 5 was another good week for picks, although there were
some shocks. The Colts taking out the Packers was amazing. Arizona dropped
their first game way back on Thursday night. In the big games, Tom Brady beat
Peyton Manning again, and Big Ben led a late drive that resulted in a game
winning field goal. Here’s the updated pick standings:
Greg – 395 Points (45-32) – Winner of
Week 5
Andrew – 393 Points (44-33)
***Evan Atkinson – 318 Points (39-22)
***Didn’t pick in week one.
Week 6 only features 14 games, with four teams on their bye
week. Games are tough to pick… Detroit and Philadelphia play in a “passing
only” game. The Cowboys and Ravens try to establish themselves on Sunday as
well. Severe heavyweight matchups include the Giants at 49ers, and the Packers at Texans. And
of course Denver plays another solid team, this time it’s their division rival
San Diego. In fact, outside of two games (which Greg and I both picked 14 and 13 for), the others could easily go either way. This week will be fun!

Shoes/Coach/Evan still hasn't put in all his picks, but would have had Pittsburgh over Tennessee at 13... Same as us. So we're all even after the upset last night!
ReplyDeleteGoing into Monday night:
ReplyDeleteGreg:
Picks:4-8
Points:33
Andrew
Picks:5-7
Points:40
I have a total possible point total of 40, Andrew a total point possibility of 45, so he wins this week since Coach/Shoes/Evan didn't get his picks in this week.
Excuse me, I mis-counted. I am 5-7, with 37 points. Total possible points:44, so if we're both right tonight andrew would win by 1 point, but still be in second place overall.
ReplyDeleteAs you said I won this week 45 points to 44 with Denver's win last night. We both were 6-8 for picks. Since I only gained a point, you remain the overall leader by 1 point over me!!!
