Tampa Bay Pick 5 Challenge

This week's event is not a huge tournament (especially compared to last week). It's the Tampa Bay Championship, presented by EverBank. Despite that, there are some quality players in the field, led by Luke Donald (3rd in world and the defending champion). It's on a nice course (Copperhead) which a lot of the players love. And I won't be picking Tiger Woods, but only because he's not in the field.

Overall Pick Standings:

Andrew: 504
Greg: 485

There have now been ten straight American winners on the PGA Tour so will this follow that pattern? This week the five categories are favorite, darkhorse, up and comer, oldie, and unknown. Here are our picks:

Greg's Picks

Favorite: Luke Donald
Darkhorse: Sergio Garcia
Up and Comer: Scott Piercy
Oldie: KJ Choi
Unknown: Billy Horschel

Andrew's Picks

Favorite: Luke Donald
Darkhorse: Zach Johnson
Up and Comer: John Huh
Oldie: Jim Furyk
Unknown: Ted Potter Jr.

  2. Actually on the earlier events we've done only 15 points for second place in the money... So take away 3 points that you added and you now have the lead:

    Greg: 549
    Andrew: 547

I wanted to let it slide but it's not fair. Got to stick with 20 for first and 15 for second on the money for consistency and fairness sake.
