Game 7

Game 7 between the Miami Heat and Indiana Pacers is tonight. After what's been the best and most entertaining series in recent memory, I hope Game 7 lives up to the hype. It features a team full of great players vs. a great team full of adequate players. I love the contrasts here. So what will happen?

In our Conference Preview, Andrew said Miami would win in 7. Greg said Indiana would in 7. It all comes down to this... Personally, I think the Heat are reeling. The Big 3 is now the Big 1 and Wade is complaining about it. Indiana is playing with an incredible edge and they are coming together more and more. They have gained confidence throughout the series and arguably should have won it already (choked in Game 1, flat in Game 3). But at the same time, the Heat could have closed out Game 2 better and they'd have won already too...

One key stat is that no team has won two games in a row in this series, and it's virtually unheard to beat the Heat two games in a row. Also, Lebron James is averaging over 34 points a game in Game 7's, higher than any game in basketball history (yes, including Jordan). I say he goes off tonight like his Cleveland days and they advance on to the NBA Finals. Here's to hoping that doesn't happen though...
