NBA Finals

Due to vacationing, we weren't able to post anything last week. That means we missed our chance at previewing the NBA Finals. Let's just say the first two games weren't that surprising to either of us. We knew SA was more balanced on both sides of the ball, had answers for the "Big 3", and had a Big 3 of their own worth watching. We knew Tony Parker would be tough to guard no matter who was on him, and they had great depth.

We also knew Miami has great talent and could outrun the Spurs. We knew they had weapons and could light up the scoreboard if they got hot from deep. We also knew that their athleticism is great and can't always be slowed down.

Nonetheless, we made predictions beforehand and for what it's worth, here they are:

Andrew - Spurs in 7.

Greg - Spurs in 6.

Both of us thought that the Spurs could slow the Heat down like Indiana did, but they had the offense to overtake them unlike the Pacers. The Spurs have the veterans to make it happen and have the young athletes and shooters around them that blend perfectly. We believe Coach Pop is the best in the business and have seen them dismantle a Lebron-led team in the Finals before. It would be a great series to watch however, just like Game 1 was.
