We figured we should write something about the end of the baseball season. So here it is:
Congrats to the San Francisco Giants on winning the World Series. Were they the best team throughout the year, no. But they got hot at the right time, found there pitching, and got timely hitting the entire postseason. Sounds like a couple years ago right?
They simply outplayed the Tigers in the WS each game. They were better in every phase of the game. Do I think they have a chance to repeat? Yes. Do I think they will? No.
Looking ahead to next year, I'm going to predict that the Nationals win the WS, but only under one condition. They let Strasburg start in the playoffs. If so, they will bring home their first title.
Stay tuned throughout the offseason for reaction on major deals (particularly if they involved the Cubs or Braves). Until then, so long baseball fans. Sorry we care more about football and basketball...
